Phosphene

Phosphene can be described as “a ring or spot of light produced by pressure on the eyeball or direct stimulation of the visual system other than by light”. This can often occur when one is staring at a light source for too long and closes their eyes or by getting up too fast.
This processing exercise video was based around that phenomenon. I utilized basic drawing functions as well as sin waves, control structures, and other functions to create my desired outcome. The loop is endless. I wanted colors that complimented each other such as muted purples, blues, and greens.
