_floss

_floss is a mock-up of a zine inspired by the retrowave and futuresynth aesthetic of the 80's. Created February of 2019, I wanted to explore a different style of editing in a unique and slightly disturbing way. _floss displays concepts of dream-like landscapes while also incorporating elements of technology and artificial intelligence. The color scheme is based around pastels as well as bright neons. Each image is different from the last, but they all focus on the Taiwanese model and singer, Lin Yanjun. This piece is meant to be seen online, as well as in print as it explores elements of 3D as well as includes the experience of physically flipping through the pages.
